You can help rebuild the Birks Cinema by sponsoring one of the 99 seats in the auditorium, or one of the two wheelchair spaces.
The donation price of each seat is £1,000, so why not sponsor one in your own name, call it after someone you love, use it as a way of commemorating a relative, or share a seat with a friend? It’s a wonderful way to support the revival of the cinema and give your own personal gift to our Highland Perthshire community.
The name you choose will go on a plaque attached to the seat, so that your public spirited generosity will be recorded for the lifetime of the seating. Plaques for the two wheelchair spaces will go on the adjoining wall.
Seats will be ‘sold’ on a first come, first served basis, and seat numbers will be blanked out as they become unavailable. Please note that your donation will go into general funds to rebuild the cinema rather than being dedicated solely to buying seats.
Pick the number you want from the seating plan and download and fill in the sponsorship form. Then please send it, plus your cheque for £1,000 made out to "FRIENDS OF THE BIRKS CINEMA" to:

As this is a donation, we can claim Gift Aid if you are a UK Tax Payer. This means an extra £250 to us, so your donation can go even further. Please sign the declaration in that box if you can.
As an alternative way of sponsoring a seat, you could download and fill in the sponsorship form and then send it to us online via our email address email@example.com and then make your £1,000 donation to Friends of the Birks Cinema conveniently through the Charity Giving service, www.charitygiving.co.uk which will automatically ask you about Gift Aid.
